Smokey Barrels

Smokey Barrels is a modern Indian restaurant, mixed grill house and sports bar on Coventry Road in east Birmingham. The venue has been fully refurbished with exposed brick, rustic wood and recycled metal, creating a relaxed space that works equally well for a family meal, a night out with friends or watching the big game. The heart of the kitchen is the clay tandoor. Mixed grills come straight out of it, with chicken tikka, garlic chicken tikka, seekh kebab, wings, lamb chops and masala fish, from a Classic Small for one up to the Mega Mix Grill built to share between three. Alongside the grills there’s a full range of curries, from butter chicken to lamb rogan josh, plus paneer tikka masala and tarka daal for vegetarians. The spice menu is halal. For anyone not in the mood for Indian.
