The short version: we keep what we need to send you the newsletter, nothing is sold, and you can leave any time.
Newsletter
When you sign up we keep your email address, the cities you chose, and which page you signed up on and how you first found us (for example a search engine or a link), so we can see what's working. We only start sending once you confirm your address. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all emails straight away. If you asked us to tell you when a particular place opens, we send that one email and no more about it.
Restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels
Listings come from public food business registrations and from venues themselves. If we email a new venue about a free feature, we only use a business address published on its own website, we send at most one follow-up, and every email has a link to stop hearing from us. Details and photos a venue sends us are published on its listing.
Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. If you don't, it isn't loaded at all. You can change your mind with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.
Who handles your data
Emails are sent through Resend. The site and its database run on Railway. Analytics, if you allow it, is Google Analytics. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
Removing your data
Email hello@gastroflick.co.uk and we'll delete your details. You can also unsubscribe from any newsletter in one click.
